I remember having a dream that took place in Super Mario Sunshine, like the main town area. I don’t remember a lot that happened first but I do remember talking to a friend how it was difficult to get yoshi from the town to the small island to melt the obstacles blocking the pipe. Apparently there was a way to get a pipe to teleport you there without being on a time limit, so that was surprising and honestly pretty neat. One person I do remember being there was Tsukasa Tenma! He’s from Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage, or Project Sekai, the fandom usually calls it the second option. He’s pretty loud, and he likes being in the spotlight because he performs shows. Pretty much the opposite of me who is quiet and introverted, doesn’t like being in the spotlight whatsoever, but I do like to draw. I remember telling the others that I would go find something back in the town, not sure what, but Tsukasa offered to come with, so to the town we went! We ended up in a walking in dark classroom? Not dark enough to not see but the room had like a navy blue hue to it with the blue moonlight shining through a square hole in the ceiling. The classroom had students sitting there quietly talking and the teacher was no where to be found. So while I was looking for something, Tsukasa, the star of the show, decided… to present a supposedly funny joke?? I dunno man but it was hilarious hearing no laughter and he walked to me in defeat XD. The whole thing was cute but I did go up to him and give him like an affectionate head butt. Like what cats do to their owners when they want pets. Then I’m not sure what happened next but I found some kind of portal that was black in the center and sprayed out into a wavy purple-ish blue color. Willingly entering the portal, I now turn into some kind of animal? Maybe a cat cause I started walking towards the purple portal on all fours. I looked around the small space between the both portals. It was very dark but the path I walked on between the portals was speckled like tiny glowing stars, the of course there was the glow from the portals, one being purple and mine having a green glow. I entered the purple portal and came face to face with another creature, also maybe a cat. No words were spoken, just the tilting of heads and confusion. Then suddenly a blue portal opened and another creature entered. We were all curious and confused about each other when we hear shouting from the woods behind the owner of the purple portal. Me and the blue portal creature rushed back into the space between portals and I noticed that mine shifted a little, the path now branching out to show a path to the blue portal. We all stopped to look at each other in the dark starlit space and I noticed that the purple portal was slowly turning yellow from the approaching voices. The cat-creature from that portal looked worried and seemed like they wanted to follow us, so I attempted to invite her to my world with a wave. At the portal turned yellow and the yelling got louder, I knew time was running out so we all had no choice but to quickly return to our own worlds. I returned to Tsukasa and the portal was gone. The last thing I remember was both of us getting on a boat to return to the island with the others :3
Your dream intricately weaves together elements from video game environments, personal traits, social interactions, and portals symbolizing transitions. Here’s a detailed interpretation:
Super Mario Sunshine Setting: This location can symbolize a desire for adventure and exploration within your own creative endeavors. Mario games often include themes of overcoming obstacles and adventure, which might reflect your own life journey toward achieving personal goals or creative expression.
Tsukasa Tenma: His presence in the dream juxtaposes your personality with his extroverted and spotlight-loving demeanor. This contrast may represent your own feelings about sociability and performance, where you admire qualities in others that you may feel are lacking in yourself. His character could also embody a supportive side of you, pushing you to step outside your comfort zone.
Searching for Yoshi: The difficulty in getting Yoshi and the eventual realization that there’s a teleportation option implies problems and solutions in your life where you might feel stuck but later discover easier paths or shortcuts. This could represent your exploration of options in your creative pursuits or social interactions.
Classroom Scene: The dark-toned classroom can symbolize an exploration of learning or internal understanding. The blue hue that allows some visibility suggests that you’re entering dark but significant emotional spaces – areas where you’re trying to gain insight or clarity. Tsukasa’s failed joke in the serious atmosphere might reflect your experiences with humor in serious situations; perhaps it’s a commentary on your social interactions or personal challenges in communicating with others.
Portals: The portals symbolize gateways to new experiences or aspects of yourself. The black center with the wave of purple-blue indicates unknown possibilities and emotional depth. Transitioning to walking on all fours as an animal symbolizes a connection to a more instinctual and authentic self, perhaps tapping into feelings of freedom, playfulness, and an unencumbered nature.
Living Beings in Portals: Encountering other creatures in the portal space suggests a bridge between your inner world and the outer world, indicating collaborative creativity or relationships in a sphere where existing boundaries blur.
The final boat ride with Tsukasa signifies a return to a state of comfort and connection after undergoing a transformative experience. It reflects a reconciliation with your social self and acknowledges bonds forged through shared adventures. As you return with Tsukasa, it might suggest that embracing your playful side—even if it feels outside your comfort zone—can lead to fulfilling experiences and reconnecting with your interests.
Your dream conveys a journey of self-exploration, creativity, and the significance of relationships, highlighting the balance between your introverted tendencies and the allure of social engagement and adventure. It prompts a reflection on how you approach challenges, connect with others, and explore your instincts and creativity.
